At 1,200 meters above sea level, in the middle of the idyllic Schwarzleotal valley, it is located all to itself - with a magnificent view of the Leoganger Steinberge mountains and surrounded by pure tranquillity. The hut was built in 1948 and lovingly renovated in 2019, retaining all of its original charm.

Upon entering the hut, you enter the cozy living room and lounge with a large table and a stove - a place to arrive, sit together and unwind. From here, a separate door leads into the dining area, which is equipped with an original wood-burning stove that can also be used for cooking. From the dining area, you have direct access to the balcony, where the view opens up over the impressive Leogang mountains and you can enjoy the peace and space of nature to the full. Adjacent to the dining area is the small, functional kitchen - practically designed and equipped with everything you need for life in the mountains.
The alpine hut offers a total of four bedrooms, one of which has a bunk bed, and space for up to ten people. The two bathrooms are modern and furnished with great attention to detail - one with a shower, the other with a bath and shower. After a day in the fresh mountain air, this is just the right place to relax. Traditional heating is provided by wood and radiators, while underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth in the bathrooms.

There is also a wooden platform outside - ideal for sunbathing, reading or a yoga session in the clear mountain air. From April to November, depending on the weather, you can drive up to the hut by car. In the winter months, the path itself becomes an experience: you can park further down in the valley and reach the hut after a 30-minute ski tour or winter hike.

This alpine hut is not a place for a short weekend trip, but a home for people who love the unspoilt, seek peace and quiet and see the mountains as a way of life. Fully furnished, cozy and equipped with everything you need, it offers the perfect blend of tradition and comfort. The hut is only available to permanent tenants who want to enjoy this special place on a long-term basis.

Beim Betreten der Hütte gelangt man in den gemütlichen Wohn- bzw. Aufenthaltsraum mit einer großen Tischtafel und einem Ofen – ein Ort zum Ankommen, Zusammensitzen und Abschalten. Von hier führt eine separate Tür in den Essbereich, der mit einem ursprünglichen Holzofen ausgestattet ist auf dem zusätzlich auch noch gekocht werden kann. Vom Essbereich aus gelangt man direkt auf den Balkon, wo sich der Blick über die beeindruckende Leoganger Bergwelt öffnet und man die Ruhe und Weite der Natur in vollen Zügen genießen kann. Angrenzend an den Essbereich befindet sich die kleine, funktionale Küche – praktisch gestaltet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man für das Leben in den Bergen braucht.
Insgesamt bietet die Almhütte vier Schlafzimmer, eines davon mit Stockbett, und Platz für bis zu zehn Personen. Die beiden Badezimmer sind modern gestaltet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – eines mit Dusche, das andere mit Badewanne und Dusche. Nach einem Tag in der frischen Bergluft ist das genau der richtige Ort, um zur Ruhe zu kommen. Geheizt wird klassisch mit Holz und Radiatoren, in den Bädern sorgt eine Fußbodenheizung für angenehme Wärme.

Draußen gibt es außerdem eine Holzplattform – ideal zum Sonnenliegen, Lesen oder für eine Yogaeinheit in der klaren Bergluft. Von April bis November kann man, je nach Wetterlage, mit dem Auto bis zur Hütte fahren. In den Wintermonaten wird der Weg selbst zum Erlebnis: Dann parkt man weiter unten im Tal und erreicht die Hütte nach einer rund 30-minütigen Skitour oder Winterwanderung.

Diese Almhütte ist kein Ort für einen kurzen Wochenendtrip, sondern ein Zuhause für Menschen, die das Ursprüngliche lieben, die Ruhe suchen und die Berge als Lebensgefühl begreifen.
